Note: Schematic summary of phase reactions in Rene 88 DT. Prolonged exposure produces the growth of both the secondary and the tertiary forms of Gamma’ and the formation of grain boundary Gamma’ films. Ultimately, at exposure conditions equivalent to LM = 29 the tertiary Gamma’ that formed on aging dissolves. Continued exposure produces grain boundary M3B2 and M23C6 and, after prolonged exposure at 76O C, pmu phase appears. Full points were stressed exposures.
