Note: Time-temperature-transformation (TTT) diagram of slag which represents the relationship between the time required for crystallization and the temperature, provides essential information for determining the optimum cooling path during slag granulation. A few studies have been carried out on the determination of TTT and CCT diagrams for BF slags Figure 1 and 2. Kashiwaya et al. [72] studied the crystallization behavior of a fixed slag composition, with emphasis on the mineralogy of the crystalline phases.
