Allvac 718Plus Alloy

Alloy name: Allvac 718Plus
Diagram No.: 993
Type of diagram: TTT
Chemical composition in weight %: 0.025% C, 18.0% Cr, 2.70% Mo, 1.0% W, 9.0% Co, 10.0% Fe, 5.40% Nb, 0.70% Ti, 1.45% Al, 0.007% P, balance is Ni
Alloy group: Nickel-based alloys
Note: TTT Curve of Delta Phase Precipitation Starting in 1900F Hot Rolled Allvac 718Plus.
The Delta precipitation rate is also significantly reduced from 1750F/954C to 1800F/982C, as shown in Figure. A one hour time to initiate intragranular precipitation at 1750F/954C may require more than 10 hrs at 1800F/982C. This behavior has very important implications for the heat treatment of alloy 718Plus.
