1. Installing of Metal Etchants on Mac PCs
------------------------------------------

Before you install and run the Metal Etchants, you should check the following minimum system requirements:

- Mac OS X (Jaguar, Leopard, Lion, Mountain Lion, Panther, Snow Leopard, Tiger, Sierra Nevada),
- RAM: Recommended 1 Gb RAM or greater,
- Hard disk free space: 60 Mb,
- Recommended screen resolution: 800 x 600 pixels or higher,
- Browser Safari, Mozilla for the OS X.

In order to install the Metal Etchants, please download and run the corresponding zip file from the website:

     https://www.steeldata.info/etch/html/download.html
     https://www.steeldata.info/etch/html/demo.html

Once the download has finished, please uncompress the zip-file into some temporary directory e.g. etch.
Note: All zip files was tested by the ESET program.


2. Installation and Running the Software
----------------------------------------

Installing the full version:
1. Download the Metal Etchants from the web site https://www.steeldata.info/etch/html/download.html.
2. In the folder Downloads, double click the zip file etch.zip and extract the files.
3. Drag and move the folder  Metal_Etchants into the folder Documents.
4. In the folder Metal_Etchants, make the alias from the file index.html.
5. Drag and Move the alias into the Desktop.
6. Rename the name index.html to the Metal Etchants.
7. Double clik the icon Metal Etchants and run the database.

Installing the demo version:
1. Download the Metal Etchants from the web site https://www.steeldata.info/etch/html/demo.html.
2. In the folder Demo, double click the zip file etch_demo.zip and extract the files.
3. Drag and move the folder Metal_Etchants_Demo into the folder Documents.
4. In the folder Metal_Etchants_Demo, make the alias from the file index.html.
5. Drag and Move the alias into the Desktop.
6. Rename the name index.html to the Metal Etchants.
7. Double clik the icon Metal Etchants and run the database.


3. Uninstallation of Metal Etchants
-----------------------------------

1. Drag and move the icon Metal Etchants from the Desktop into the Trash.
2. In the folder Documents, drag and move the folder Metal_Etchants or Metal_Etchants_Demo into the Trash

In case of trouble with Metal Etchants, you can quickly access the most recent support
