1. Installing of Macro Defects in Steel on Web Server
-----------------------------------------------------

Before you install and run the Macro Defects in Steel, you should check the following minimum system requirements:

- System Requirements for Web Server (Intranet)

- Web server: Apache, IIS, NGINX, GWS, or any other,
- Computer OS: Windows, Mac, Linux,
- RAM: recommended 1 Gb or greater,
- Hard disk free space: 600 Mb, 
- Recommended screen resolution: 800 x 600 pixels or higher,
- Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 or higher, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Safari which support the Java script.

In order to install the Macro Defects in Steel, please download the Macro Defects in Steel server version.

Once the download has finished, please unzip the zip-files into web directory on web server e.g. htdocs.
Note: All zip files was tested by the ESET program.


2. Installation and Running the Software
----------------------------------------

Installing the full version:
1. Download the Macro Defects in Steel from the web site https://www.steeldata.info/macro/html/download.html.
2. Unzip the macro_server.zip files into web directory, e.g. htdocs.
3. Start your browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 or higher, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Safari.
4. Type in your browser hhtp://your server name (or IP address)/Server/index.html

Installing the demo version:
1. Download the Macro Defects in Steel from the web site https://www.steeldata.info/macro/html/demo.html.
2. Unzip the macro_server_demo.zip files into web directory, e.g. htdocs.
3. Start your browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 or higher, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Safari.
4. Type in your browser http://your server name (or IP address)/Macro_Defects_Steel_Demo/index.html


3. Uninstallation of Macro Defects in Steel 
-------------------------------------------

1. In the web server directory, e.g. htdocs/Server, delete the name 'Server' or 'Macro_Defects_Steel_Demo' directory (there is located the Macro Defects in Steel files).
