10CrSiMoV-7 Steel

Steel name: 10CrSiMoV-7
Diagram No.: 5112
Type of diagram: CCT
DIN designation: 10CrSiMoV-7
Mat. No. (Wr. Nr.) designation: 1.8075
Chemical composition in weight %: max. 0.12% C, 0.90-1.20% Si, 0.35-0.75% Mn, max. 0.035% P, max. 0.035% S, 1.60-2.00% Cr, 0.25-0.35% Mo, 0.25-0.35% V
Steel group: High-temperature tube steels
Note: The transformation and precipitation behaviour on continuous cooling is shown in Fig. During cooling from the austenitizing temperature MX (VC) is precipitated, first in the austenite and later, to a greater extent, in the pre-eutectoid ferrite. An MX eutectoid in the form of a border is then formed. At lower cooling rates pearlite is also formed. After the end of the alpha-gamma transformation M7C3 is also precipitated in the form of needles.
